Assignment was given and this should be signed and returned in tomorrow's class.
Grade six continued working on the multiplication of fractions and mixed numbers. We completed a multiplication fact worksheet and reviewed converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers. In tomorrows class we will complete a short quiz and start looking at Measurement and Geometry. Students were asked to do a mini research that will have them look up the items listed below:
- Define a line, a ray, a line segment
- Describe how each are named
- Identify how many endpoints a line, a line segment and a ray has
- Draw and name a line, a line segment and a ray.
