Revision Details

Hi guys, as you prepare for your exams that will start next week, please take into consideration these tips I found on www.how-to-study.com.
  • Review the schoolwork over the weekend
  • Try not to do too much at once
  • Plan specific times for studying
  • Set specific goals(what topic will I do in this study session)
  • Try to work on topics that are most challenging to you (www.Khanacademy.com, www.IXL.com)
  • Call on an expert when you get stuck (parents, older brothers and sisters, classmates, teachers)
Please review these pointers while you use the study guides provided to prepare for your exams.

Study Guides

Hi guys. It has been a while but you are never far from my thoughts nor my plans.

The study guides are ready and they should not sit in your bookbags. They should be used as instructed every single day of the week.

Grade six you are doing very well with your fractions but you will do much better if you work on the worksheets that were given. In addition, please visit multiplication.com to sharpen your multiplication skill. I have come across some fun games on this site so go ahead and have fun doing math.
I also stumbled upon a few fraction games that you could play with your family on math-play.com

Grade seven please work on the formula review sheets that were given, especially the ones you are least familiar with. See you in the computer lab tomorrow.

Grade eight, I enjoyed the presentations on permutation and combination that were done today. David has a few pics that he would like to upload. We might be able to do that over the weekend. Well...no class tomorrow....have fun with your study guides and do enjoy your trip.
