Class matters

Hi grade seven guys...I am so sorry that I was unable to get the videos up in today's class. Please spend some time over the weekend to visit the links pasted below and complete the exercise from Glencoe math. You conducted yourselves very well today. Thanks for a wonderful class.

Grade six: Please complete the one step equation sheet  you were working on in class. It's important that you practice.

 Grade eight...Finally. I am sooo happy for you. You all did an amazing job and I can't wait to hear the feedback from your parents. Enjoy your moment.

Grade six assignment

1. Grade six, for those of you who did not do the assignment over the break, with supervision; please open the link below

Under the heading Practice, Practice, Practice, enter eWorkbook visit chapter 6 and spend some time reviewing all that is related to integers especially the distributive property. At the end of the unit, you should complete the chapter quiz/test and return that to me.

Next, go back to main menu, visit chapter seven and review lessons 1, 2 and 3. For each time you enter, you will be given a different but similar test. Copy at least one of each to present to me. Instead of printing these pages, you could ask your parents to send it to me at scampbell@durhamnativity.org

2. Solve the equations given on page 638 numbers 5 to 14. Show all working.

Assignments

Grade six: Monday, Complete "Simply Follow The Trail" and on Tuesday, complete "A Simple Task?". Both sheets will have you practice simplifying algebraic expressions.

Grade eight: Your initial budget is due on Wednesday. Make sure to do all you can to get it balanced over the next two days. In addition, you need to complete the slopes assignment you brought home tonight.
